The Lutheran congregation Verden-Dundee extends a warm invitation to be spoilt in true African style with hospitality of a rustic nature. Accommodation is in wooden chalets. Enjoy a walk or the view of the nearby mountain range, a wide variety of bird life and look at the sun as it rises or sets on the African sky. Take a short drive into the nearby game farm or challenge yourself to abseiling, white water rafting or even take your friends or colleagues to a team building tour and master the elandsheim obstacle course.
The farm is well equipped to host families and groups of up to 80 persons in chalets (sleeping 8) and 16 in four 4 bed rooms. Camping sites without electricity are also available.
Route: the farm is nestled in the beautiful Buffalo river valley, 57km from Dundee off the R33 on the battlefield route towards rorkes drift. Take the R33 from Dundee to Greytown. About 42km turn left at the sign “Elandskraal”. Follow gravel road for 14km and turn left into “Elandsheim” and drive up to Main House. |
